By using the WhatsOnTap mobile application or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Service description

WhatsOnTap is a brewery discovery and engagement platform. It allows users to find breweries, wineries and distilleries, follow them, receive updates, and access venue-related content.

Age restrictions

WhatsOnTap contains alcohol-related content and is intended only for users of legal drinking age. You must be 21 years of age or older to use this service in the United States, or of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction.

Users are required to provide and verify their date of birth before following a brewery or receiving any brewery-related SMS communications. Users who do not meet the minimum age are refused and no opt-in is recorded for them.

SMS communications

Following a brewery within the WhatsOnTap app requires explicit consent to receive SMS messages from that brewery. Consent is given through a dialog that displays your phone number, the types of message you will receive, message frequency and rate information, and links to this document and our Privacy Policy.

These messages may include:

Brewery announcements
Event notifications
Product release updates
Promotional and marketing updates

Message frequency varies depending on the breweries you follow. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by unfollowing the brewery inside the app. Reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use WhatsOnTap to post unlawful, abusive or misleading content, to impersonate others, or to interfere with the operation of the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Limitation of liability

WhatsOnTap is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information published by third-party venues, nor for decisions made on the basis of it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
